On connectors it says it has four 6+2 pin PCI-E Connectors. My graphics cards need 1x 6 pin and 1x 8 pin connector each. I wondered if a 6+2 pin connector can go into a 6 pin slot as I think I read about it once. Please can someone give me further details on this.

I was told on here i forgot which thread or it might have been a different forum , that dont get 6 pin connector only get 8 pin.
No actual reason was given.
At the moment i do not mind buying the ASUS Strix RX470 but it has a 6 pin.
I am also keen on the PowerColor ; Saphire Nitro + ; Gigabyte RX480 looks decent and priced well ; Asus G1 Strix
I cant remember if the Nitro+ has an 8pin.
Anyways for me the RX480 Gigabyte looks good value for money although i am pretty happy to get the RX470s
PowerColor was my primary choice of all because of price, except for the RX480 its stupidly priced like most other RX480's
Maybe not in the USD price range but then again i dont know what deal the USA has with China because its as if they never pay for taxes or shipping the prices of electronics is ALWAYS better in USA when comparing to England / South Africa , its crazy.
