The Local Government Limited Gaming Impact Program was created to provide financial assistance to local governments in addressing documented gaming impacts stemming from limited stakes gaming in the communities of Cripple Creek, Black Hawk and Central City. The Program is financed with a portion of state taxes on limited gaming activities in these municipalities.

Grant funds are provided to eligible local governments through a competitive application process to finance planning, construction and maintenance of public facilities and the provision of public services related to documented gaming impacts. Successful applicants must be able to quantify gaming impacts and to identify the public service and facility needs associated with those impacts.

Eligibility

Pre-doctoral Student Network Grants. To encourage research on this topic and also cultivate the next generation of gambling researchers, the Scientific Advisory Board of the International Center for Responsible Gaming is pleased to invite applications for a new grants program for pre-doctoral students. For over 10 years, Gaming Fund Group has been a licensed third party provider of proposition player services in the State of California. What We Do We provide third party proposition player services to our clients' casinos.

The geographic eligibility area for the Program includes the counties of Gilpin and Teller as well as the eight counties contiguous to these two counties: Boulder, Clear Creek, Douglas, El Paso, Fremont, Grand, Jefferson, and Park. In addition, counties that contain tribal lands where limited stakes gaming occurs are also included within the geographic eligibility area. Tribal gaming counties include: Archuleta, La Plata, and Montezuma.

The types of local governments eligible to receive assistance include: counties, municipalities (with the exception of the three gaming cities: Black Hawk, Central City and Cripple Creek) and special districts that provide emergency services. In addition, eligible local governments may apply on behalf of private nonprofit agencies that are impacted by gaming.

Gambling Community Benefit Fund Grant

The Gambling Community Benefit Fund Grant has multiple funding rounds each year. The closing date for the rounds is 30th of October.

The funding limit is between $500 and $35,000.

Grant overview:

The objective of the Gambling Community Benefit Fund is to allocate funding to not-for-profit community groups to help them provide services, leisure activities and opportunities for Queensland communities.

Before registering and applying for the Gambling Community Benefit Fund grant, you should understand the responsibilities and expectations of eligible organisations.

Because, this will help you submit a valid application and understand the chances of a positive outcome.

For your organisation to be eligible for the Gambling Community Benefit Fund, it must meet the requirements of either a legal entity or a sponsored entity.

Legal entity:

  • is incorporated or registered under an Act of Parliament
  • It should have the following:
  • an active ABN
  • not-for-profit objectives
  • a bank account in the name of the legal entity
  • must provide abank verification formstamped by the organisation’s financial institute.

Sponsored entity:

Gambling Funding Grants Pass

  • is unincorporated and not registered under an Act of Parliament
  • has not-for-profit objectives
  • maybe a local ambulance committee, rural fire brigade or State Emergency Service group.

We may request other documentation to verify eligibility.

While schools are not eligible, parents and citizens associations (P&Cs) and parents and friends associations (P&Fs) can apply.
